"I'm familiar with the idea," he says simply, lips pressed thin. "Both of resentment and with becoming a demon. You can't let either of them shirk blame fully. Temptation and manipulation will always be present — but falling to weakness isn't an excuse. Though if you don't remember her name, maybe you aren't seeing the full picture anyway."
